For those customers that do not qualify for one of our Move-Right-In Programs and enroll in the Assisted Home Purchase Program, you will enjoy our Rent Credit Program. This program is designed to give additional assistance in purchasing a home and is unlike any other program you may have seen.
How Our Rent Credit Program Works:
With this program, you earn credit that is applied towards the closing costs of your new home when your credit has been repaired and you are able to purchase the home. It is designed to cover any additional closing costs that you may incur at closing (thereby significantly reducing and possibly eliminating any additional cash required to purchase the home).
Once enrolled, you will receive up to a 50% Monthly Rent Credit
(with a maximum total of 3% of the purchase price of the home towards your closing costs while you continue to pay on-time rent at ... ANY location of your choice).
It does NOT matter where you live!
Rent Credit Program Examples:
Current rent of $700 per month on a 6 month program is
$350.00 credit per month x 6 months = $2,100 additional credit
Current rent of $900 per month on a 10 month program is
$450.00 credit per month x 10 months = $4,500 additional credit
You can stay in your current apartment or you can transfer the credit if you move. All we ask for is a copy of your lease and proof of on-time payment and you earn the credit. With this program, it's as if you are no longer paying 50% of your rent because you are actually getting credit towards a home! No other program around actually allows you to save for a home simply by paying your rent!
